INFORMATION ARCHITECTURE EVALUATION
Card sort and tree testing for UT iSchool’s Design Thinking II class. The International Office at UT requested our class's help with evaluating and redesigning their website.
- Increase user engagement
- Create a better user experience
- Validate their current redesign templates
- Decrease user bounce rates
I worked on evaluating the information architecture of the proposed website. I created a card sort using OptimalSort. The data I collected from this served as a template for two proposed information architectures. The results showed that both were an improvement over the original.
The experience involved a client and a large team. We spent a month and a half working on this as a class and were able to present valuable information to meet all of the client's goals.
